Nicholas Harper is a Canberra based designer, maker and picture framer.
Nick is multi-skilled with training in designing and making furniture and objects in wood and metal. He also has extensive experience in archival picture framing and art installation. Nick is a graduate of the ANU Wood Workshop where he studied under George Ingham and has also completed a traineeship in Gold and Silversmithing at Workshop Bilk with Helen Aitken-Kuhnen and Johannes Kuhnen.
Nick now uses his combined skills to design and make a range of objects including furniture, objects and tableware.
As a designer-maker, Nick aims to create work that is elegant, tactile and practical.
Nick currently operates out of the shared workshop, Six Wiluna.
